In this episode, I discuss the pitfall of always waiting for the perfect moment to take the leap. There is a fine line between preparation and procrastination and I touch on this. As an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to put yourself out there in the world even when you don't feel ready. I share the struggle of doing this in my own career and life and offer a few tips.
Tomorrow is my birthday and it has me doing some serious self reflecting. I like to take time each year and think about what I have acholmpished over the past year of my life. This year the 10 year photo challenge is fresh in my head and it make me think what was my life like 10 years ago. 10 years ago I was just starting my Saturn Returns and was 28 years old. I was feeling like I was behind in life and trying to play catch up. When I think back on this time there was a 3 year blur between 25-28. Everything just runs together because I was so busy trying to make shit happen. In this podcast episode I decided to share advice I would give to my 25 and 28 year old self.
n this episode, I sit down and chat with Sofia Lawrence (a yoga instructor and motivational mentor) and Leslie Woods (entrepreneur and boss base) and discuss their upcoming workshop on;
1. Situational Awareness: Jumpstart your journey to a rewarding inner narrative by understanding when, how, and why you are speaking to yourself.
2. Build Inner Dialogue: Refine your awareness with tools and takeaways that you can use in your day-to-day life.
3. Create Your Ideal 2019: Envision and design your year ahead in a tactile way with your own vision board.
We talk in depth about how self-talk can impact your life and how to attract everything you want into your life.
In this episode of the Caffeinated Gypsy podcast I talk about the struggle of standing out in a world where it seems like everyone is doing the same things. I share how I have watch this profession blossom over the past 7 years and how I have had to navigate a profession that is saturated with people doing very similar work.
